Vintage Club Seventeen and Edgewater Salon

Vintage Club Seventeen is a boutique offering clothing from the 1970s that has been repurposed and given new life through thrift shops, estate sales and yard sales. Owner Rachel Dennis states that Vintage Club Seventeen exists to give second lives to items once considered disposable.

Edgewater — On June 1, an innovative combination vintage store and hair salon opened under one roof at 5820 N. Broadway, an establishment owned by Dennis. She describes this space as a mini-antique mall, featuring six vintage sellers selling items like colorful glassware, wooden figurines and taper candle holders. A two-chair salon room sits at the back for easy separation of businesses – another hairdresser who works alongside Dennis will also operate within this business.
