This webcam is ideal for teens. It is user-friendly and compatible with multiple programs including discord, skype, zoom, Twitch and OBS. With no software installations needed to plug and play this device it makes a perfect vlogging companion as it easily connects via its USB cable to any laptop or desktop computer – perfect for use during Vlogmas! Plus it is portable enough for easy transport!

It features a wide-angle lens and supports up to 4K resolution, an omnidirectional microphone for picking up audio from all directions, and its small LED indicator that shows when recording is active. Although some users might find this convenient, other may prefer an on/off switch or status light that shows when recording is underway.

The Tadpole 4K cam features an attractive design, but has some drawbacks that may limit its use. First of all, it is exclusively laptop-focused; meaning you cannot mount it onto a desktop computer. Furthermore, its clip only opens about 35 degrees so may not fit over chunkier laptop displays. Last but not least, there is no stand included with this camera so one will need to be purchased separately.
