Teencore Club – New York City’s Unmet Need for Flirtation, Sex, and Status Masquerading As Power

New York is currently experiencing an unusual confluence: late millennials (usually men) unwilling to move past being young people are gathering with Gen Z’ers who are growing too quickly (usually women), creating the perfect recipe for club experiences which provide floutations, sexiness and status masquerading as power.

Teencore Club represents an aesthetic which fuses Kidcore, Animecore (more feminine anime styles), Scene, Old Web and McBling influences, along with some hint of McBling. Tweencore includes many pinks and purples along with anime girls from Disney Princesses who wear pink outfits; pretty anime girls as well as rebellious spirits abound.

Brunswick County 4-H recently unveiled their TeenCORE initiative to engage local youth in their communities and offer them opportunities for career and college preparation. Visit their website to discover more!
