Teen Mom Casting

MTV is currently casting for its thought-provoking reality series Teen Mom. This show follows women who became pregnant as teenagers, then found themselves struggling with raising children as early 20’s women.

In 2009, this franchise debuted as a spin-off of 16 and Pregnant. Some of the girls featured are good students and pretty cheerleaders while others come from homes marred by drugs and alcohol abuse. Scenes can range from intimate, heartfelt or eye-opening; often featuring difficult interactions among fathers, friends or each other – even between each other themselves!

Initial episodes followed Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood and Kailyn Lowry; later that year the cast expanded to include Bristol Palin, Mackenzie Douthit and Cheyenne Floyd.

Prior to Teen Mom 2, MTV producers have used story lines involving conflict amongst the moms (such as Farrah and the original cast or Kailyn and Briana on Teen Mom 2) as an incentive for viewers. Therefore, it seems reasonable for them to employ similar strategies when producing storylines for Teen Mom 3.

The network is betting a great deal on this new cast members for its hit show. These women range from expecting mothers-to-be and those already parenting teenagers, all while managing careers and home lives simultaneously. Their lives could make for an intriguing, contentious season of this long-running series.
