Teens who send nude photos via direct messages will now be warned about being careful as others may have already seen these images. Although this is an encouraging development, meaningful change won’t occur until there are tools in place for reporting unwanted advances and there’s transparency about who has seen their messages.

The ACLU has filed an appeal with an appeals court challenging a new Virginia law banning nude camps for teens, which it contends violates free speech rights under the First Amendment.
